For this teen volunteer opportunity, teens will pose and photograph children’s stuffed animals having adventures in the library. The photos will be given to children during this week’s Storytime.
Each teen will be assigned a number of stuffed animals and will need to pose a set amount of photos for each animal. They can collaborate with other teens for group shots and use any objects around the library as props. Creativity is encouraged. Teens will also be assigned to write short letters to each child about the animal's adventures following a template. The photographs and letters will be given to the children during this week’s Storytime. There will be snacks for the teens to thank them for their work.
As this is an after-hours lock-in, permission forms will be required to attend. Please ask at the Mission Viejo Library front desk for a copy of the form.
