Explore what consumer loans are, key terms you should know, and the responsibilities that come with borrowing money.

What happens when you borrow money? This program introduces consumer loans, such as personal or auto loans, in a clear and age-appropriate way. Students will learn important loan terms, how loan payments work, and what responsibilities come with borrowing. We’ll also discuss why it’s important to understand long-term obligations before taking out a loan. This session helps students think carefully about borrowing and financial commitment.
