Learn how gold impacted colorado.

In this activity-based homeschool day we explore the mineral that shaped Colorado: gold.  In 1859, thousands of people moved here in hopes of finding some. Try it for yourself by panning for gold on a historic homestead. 
Location: DeLaney Historic District, 170 S. Chambers Road
Cost: $8 per participating child.
