Telling Your Story: A Six-Week Guided Autobiography Journey
Saturday, September 12
10:00am - 12:00pm
APL Central Library
Central Small Community RoomA 6-week course. Each week features a new life theme & a 2-page writing assignment. Participants will share their stories in small groups, building connection, and insight through guided reflection.
Guided Autobiography (GAB) is a reflective approach to life storytelling developed by Dr. James Birren. The course is designed for people of all writing levels and emphasizes memory, meaning, and personal reflection rather than polished writing.
The GAB course is a structured 6-week series designed to build from one session to the next. For the best experience and to support the integrity of the group, we strongly encourage participants to attend all six sessions. We understand that occasional conflicts happen, and participants are still welcome if they can attend most of the sessions.
Saturdays, September 12, 19, 26 and October 3, 10, and 17
