Grief and Loss Support Group
with Ellie Mental Health
Wednesday, October 07
10:30am - 12:00pm
APL Tallyn's Reach Library
Tallyn's Reach Fireplace Open SpaceA free, monthly gathering for adults grieving a loss, offering connection, support, and moments of warmth along the way.
This grief support group is a welcoming space aimed at older adults (but welcoming all adults) who have experienced the loss of a loved one and are looking for connection with others who understand. Each session is facilitated by a licensed mental health provider from Ellie Mental Health, but this isn't therapy, it's a chance to sit with others who get it, share as much or as little as feels right, and be reminded you're not alone in what you're carrying. Participants should expect a mix of open conversation, gentle guided discussion, and space for quiet listening.
Grief doesn't mean leaving joy behind, so alongside the harder moments, you can expect warmth, laughter, and a genuine sense of community. There's no pressure to share and no cost to participate. Just come as you are on the days that grief feels heavy and find a little company and maybe some lightness too.
